Customize the banner
Notice type, position, colors, advanced styling, copy, cookie categories and cookie detection: everything the banner editor lets you change.
The banner editor lives in your site, Banner section. On the left, the settings; on the right, a live preview reflecting every change. Two buttons govern the life cycle: Save keeps a draft, Publish puts the version live for your visitors. The Advanced options switch reveals the Content, Categories and cookies, and Cookie detection tabs.

The floating button is the visitor's way back: it is how the preferences reopen to change or withdraw a consent. If you hide it, offer another door: a "Manage my cookies" link in your footer, wired to the JavaScript API.
Advanced styling
In advanced mode, the Advanced styling card refines the appearance without writing CSS: rounded corners (global or per corner), background opacity and frosted glass effect, border and shadow, typography (system, serif, monospace or rounded font; title and text sizes and weights), button style (solid, gradient or pill), and your logo (uploaded or by URL, up to 4 MB in SVG, PNG, JPG or WebP). A custom CSS field remains available as an escape hatch for special cases.
Content
The Content tab exposes every text of the banner: the notice's title and description, the Accept, Reject and Settings button labels, the preference center's title, the save button, the "Always active" label of necessary cookies, the reopening widget's title, and the secondary labels (show or hide cookies, close, proof download link). Write them in your site's language; clarity remains your best ally for informed consent.
Categories and cookies
Five categories are provided at the start: necessary, functional, analytics, performance and advertising. You can add and remove some, and tune each one:
- Strictly necessary: the category is always active and cannot be refused (reserve it for genuinely essential cookies).
- Enabled by default: the state proposed in the preference center before the choice (nothing is set until consent is given).
- URL patterns to block: the request patterns the banner neutralizes as long as the category is not consented.
- Selectors to mask: the page elements (embedded videos, maps) veiled while consent is missing.
- The category's cookie list (name, domain, duration, description), shown to the visitor in the preference center.
Cookie detection
The Cookie detection tab sweeps your site, lists the cookies and scripts actually present, sorts them by category and flags the ones that fire before consent. The Apply to consent config button turns the result into a draft: categories filled and blocking patterns added, left for you to review then publish.
Publish to go live
No change reaches your visitors until you click Publish. Saving only produces a draft, convenient for preparing a redesign without touching the live banner.
